If you are seeking financial assistance, please carefully read the guidelines before applying:

  • Thorin’s Promise will not assist with charges incurred prior to the approval of application and receipt by the veterinarian of the Acceptance Letter.

 

  • You must be a resident of the United States and the veterinary practice must be located in the United States.

 

  • Thorin’s Promise will not reimburse the applicant for any payments made to the veterinarian.

 

  • If the applicant has CareCredit, you MUST use it first.

  • Be sure that all avenues to raise money for your pet have been exhausted prior to asking for assistance.

  • A diagnosis is required before you apply for assistance.

  • Thorin’s Promise will call in payment to the veterinary practice following receipt of an itemized invoice emailed by the veterinary practice.

  • Thorin’s Promise will only make payment to a veterinarian, clinic, or hospital. Funds are never disbursed to an applicant. 

  • Thorin’s Promise will pay only up to the invoice balance due.

 

  • Thorin’s Promise will not pay on an invoice showing a $0 balance due.
